Methodology

Token price, holders, supply and lifetime volume come from PreStocks' public metrics. We cross-check every price against Jupiter, which routes across all Solana liquidity including PreStocks' own pool. Prices refresh every 10 minutes.

Charts use GeckoTerminal candles from the deepest SOL, USDC or USDT pool. Pools paired against memecoins are ignored. When the indexed pool trades more than 5% away from the executable price, we chart our own 10-minute recording of the Jupiter price instead, and say so on the chart.

Private companies have no earnings calls or public order book, so the only hard references are prices that someone actually paid or quoted. We collect them as anchors: the latest primary funding round, tender offers, secondary marketplace prices (Caplight, Forge and others), pre-IPO perpetual futures, and PreStocks' own mark.

Each anchor is a company valuation. We convert it to a price per token with PreStocks' share count (their base price equals the last round's price per share), then compare it with the token price. The reference range spans the current anchors. A newer primary round supersedes older anchors: they stay visible but stop counting.

All arithmetic runs in code, never in the language model. The one-line verdict on each page is generated from the numbers, not written by AI.

PreStocks publishes a mark price described as an average of secondary market sources. Its product data lists the inputs per company: Yahoo Finance private prices, Notice, Hiive, PM Insights, Nasdaq Private Market, LBX, UpMarket, and for some names crypto venues such as OKX perps, Bitget spot or Binance perps. When crypto venues are included, the mark partly reflects token-market speculation, and we flag it.

A research agent covers each company: news every hour, and a full pass on deals, valuation anchors and risks once a day. Stances (bullish, bearish, neutral) describe the effect on the company's valuation, not a recommendation.

Every item must carry a date and a source link. Before publishing, an automated check drops items with invalid or future dates and items whose link does not resolve. Paywalled links that block bots are kept.
